Laser Level

Bring simplicity to construction applications with the Leica Rugby 670 semi-automatic grade laser. Designed for contractors who do mostly flat work but occasionally need to create single grade slopes, the Rugby 670 construction laser is easy to use and effective in all levelling and grading tasks.

Slopes done easily
Easily perform levelling and slope applications with the semi-automatic Leica Rugby 680 and 670 dual and single grade lasers. Their simple user interface, four-button menu and digital display allow quick and convenient dial-in grade for increased productivity and efficiency on site.

Accurate performance throughout the day
Eliminate costly errors and downtime coming from temperature changes on the jobsite. The Smart Slope function of the Rugby 680 continuously monitors temperature changes over time. This unique functionality assures accuracy and solid laser performance over the course of the day.

Features & Benefits

  • Digital Readout – The large numbers are clear and easy to read, so you can stay on grade. The 21 step arrow displays provide a graduated reference as you lock on the laser beam.
  • LCD Indication – Two, large graphic displays on the front and back of the receiver.
  • LED Indication – Three bright LED’s can be used as a ready reference for the receiver position.
  • Capture Function -The capture button allows the user to store and display a measurement.
  • Menu Function – Additional options are available to set your functional preferences.
  • Level Vial – Ensures good alignment and improves your reading accuracy.
  • Exceptional Reception – The extra long reception window includes the unique technology that provides the accurate digital input.
  • Audio Indication – Four audio settings. Up to 110 decibels for noisy jobs.
  • Units of Measure – Digital information is displayed above and below grade in mm, cm, inches, fractions of inches and feet.
  • Versatile Rod Bracket – A rugged rod clamp ensures solid mounting to the grade rod. The circular level vial aids to keep your grade rod plumb.
  • Protective Overmold – Protects the receiver from drops in tough jobsite conditions.

Special Features

  • Anti-strobe Protecton – Detects and ignores the flash from strong strobes on the job so that they will not interfere with the receiver function.
  • Beam Finding – Passing the receiver through the laser beam will cause the receiver to beep twice quickly.
  • Out of Beam Display – If the detector is moved out of the detector range, the arrow display will indicate the direction to move to return to the laser beam.
  • Laser Low Battery – A small laser icon on the receiver display alerts the user when the batteries are getting low.

Machine Receiver

The LMR360R offers accurate grade information for all visual machine control applications. Large 360° detection windows pick up any rotating laser, from any angle. Built-in vertical indicator monitors angle of the stick, signalling if it‘s plumb or under- or overextended. Vertical position ensures consistent and accurate grade readings, saving money by reducing over- or under-cutting. Large magnets allow quick mount and easy movement from machine to machine.

  • LED indicators show position of cutting edge in relation to the laser reference beam. Seven display channels (indicators) in coarse mode; nine channels in fi ne mode.
  • Memory stores the last signal received. Arrows indicate which way to move the cutting edge to reach the reference plane.
  • Receiver has plumb LED indicator; remote display has direction arrows for plumbing up the dipper stick. If used on a dozer or grader, these LEDs can be turned off for a simpler display and longer battery life.
  • Rugged, waterproof construction. Built-in shock mounts minimize machine vibrations.
  • Clear remote display panel mounts to the windshield with a heavy-duty suction cup. Won’t block operator’s view.
  • Displays the 9 channels of the receiver, plus the vertical indicator arrows. It receives the information via wireless RF link (no cable needed).
  • Both the receiver and remote have menus, enabling you to scroll through menu choices to change settings. All settings can be done through the remote display, without getting out of the cab. You can even turn off the receiver display from the remote, saving battery life.
